Huawei reveals the main difference between Harmony OS and Android and iOS

It is working on developing it over the past months.

But Huawei insists that the HarmonyOS system is not just a copy of the two most prominent operating systems (Android and iOS), and this was confirmed by Wang Chenglu, Director of the Software Engineering Department at Huawei in a special event, as he pointed out that the new Huawei operating system HarmonyOS is more than just a system An alternative operation for the Google and Apple systems, as he indicated that this Huawei project had started since 2016, and that unlike the Android and iOS systems, the new Huawei system is designed to work in harmony with all electronic devices, not just smart phones, which is what It will greatly facilitate the work of the developers.

It is noteworthy that Huawei announced in mid-December of last year the launch of the new trial version of its operating system, HarmonyOS 2.0, as the company revealed during the past days on the sidelines of the Huawei Developer Day and on the words of Vice President Yang Haisong that a lot of developers They have joined HarmonyOS development efforts since the beta release on December 15th.

Yang Haisong also announced the ambitions of Huawei in this regard, as the Chinese company aspires in 2021 to have more than a hundred million smart devices running the new Huawei operating system HarmonyOS, whether it is related to smart phones, but also with smart screens, smart watches and other Devices, and Huawei wants to form partnerships with manufacturers of electronic devices, especially in China, but also across the world, where a Huawei official says that more than 40 companies have expressed their desire to use the new system.
